Keysight PathWave BenchVue software for
the PC eliminates many of the issues around bench testing. By making it simple to connect, control instruments, and automate test sequences you can quickly move past the test development phase and access results faster than ever before.
The new PathWave BenchVue apps now require a license. These dedicated instrument apps allow you to quickly configure the most commonly used measurements and setups for each instrument family. Create custom test sequences with the integrated Test Flow app to automate, and visualize test results! PathWave BenchVue supports many Keysight instrument types and models all from one application.

Terms
Perpetual – A permanent license which can be maintained with an update subscription service for access to new enhancements.
Subscription – Licenses can be used through the term of the subscription.
Types
Fixed Node Locked – Software license for 1 PC
Transportable – Ability to transfer license from one PC to another using online tools
USB Portable – Ability to transfer license from one PC to another using USB dongle
Floating – Network based license gives multiple users access to SW license from server
