34980A Data Acquisition System
Description
The 34980A is similar to the DAQ970A data acquisition, but can handle very high channel counts at a very high speed. It is reliant on BenchVue software to efficiently configure, view and gather results. Customers love the choice of easy connections between standard 50 or 78-pin DSub cables, quick disconnect terminal blocks or mass interconnect connections.

Key Features
- 8-slot mainframe with 6½ digit DMM and built-in signal conditioning and scan rates up to 1,000 ch/s
- Choose from 21 function-specific plug-in modules with up to 640 single-ended (560 2-wire) multiplex channels, or 2048 2-wire matrix cross-points
- Switch from DC to 26.5 GHz with multiplexer, matrix, RF, microwave, digital I/O and analog output
- 11 measurement types, including DCV, ACV, DCI, ACI, 2- & 4-wire ohms, frequency/period, and temperature (thermocouple, thermistor, and RTDs)
- USB, LAN, GPIB (LXI)
- Setup, control, data log and view instrument results with the free PathWave BenchVue Basic app at www.keysight.com/find/BVBasic
- What kind of termination does the customer need? Screw post? Solder terminal? Don’t forget the terminal block when you sell a module.
- Example the 34922T is needed to connect to the 34922A mux.
- Need ATE switching? Sell matrix, mux, RF or GP plug-ins.
- Need digital I/O or analog output? Sell 34950A (digital I/O) or 34952A (both digital I/O and analog output).
