Compliant with the DDR3 JEDEC specification (JESD79-3A) for dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), the BGA probe adapter offers direct signal access to the BGA package, ensuring accurate compliance testing.
The Keysight W2636A and W2635A DDR3 BGA probe adapters are soldered between the dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) and the PC board or dual in-line memory module (DIMM) raw card. The printed circuit board (PCB) or DIMM footprint is located at the bottom, and the DRAM footprint is positioned at the top. The memory controller chip and DRAM signals pass directly to the top of the BGA probe adapter, where they are accessible with the oscilloscope probes.
