The Keysight EL4945A Regenerative DC Electronic Load sinks up to 12 kW of electrical power, making it ideal for testing energy storage systems and power converters. Unlike traditional electronic loads that dissipate energy as heat, raising rack temperatures and potentially affecting measurement accuracy, it regenerates that energy and feeds it back to the grid, helping you avoid additional cooling costs.

The EL4945A is a compact 2U-high package helping you save energy, minimize floor space, and shorten integration time.

The EL4945A enables you to do the following:

• Operate stably up to 500 V, ±72 A, 12 kW.
• Scale load capacity with up to 16 parallel units.
• Allow input sequencing via turn-on/off delay configuration.
• Protect against over-voltage, over-current, over-power, over-temperature, and power grid detection.
• Create complex waveforms with built-in arbitrary waveform support.
• Connect via the front USB Host connector.
